Been traveling for the past week and visited 4 cities within this time. Very exhausting, but I seemed to catch my second wind in Tokyo. Stayed a short 2 nights at the Cerulean Tower and happened to get this shot of Shibuya Crossing while waiting for a friend at the Hachiko exit of Shibuya station. Made the most of my stay, got what I needed to get done, and now need to keep pushing to make it back here again soon!

Muse 3, aka Park 97, was packed last night. The owner promised us a table on the second floor with a TV to watch the World Cup, but that fell through last minute. Instead, we were given a table downstairs which I thought would be disaster as I tend to like the atmosphere up top a bit better. To my surprise the energy level was higher than usual and the night ended sooner than expected. Black Eyed Peas are also scheduled to appear at all Muses in Shanghai starting on the 15th, should be a good performance.

Believe it or not this is the first time I’ve visited The Bund after living in Shanghai for about half a year now. This Shanghai tourist attraction didn’t put me in awe like it would have for most people, probably because it reminded me too much of Hong Kong’s Victoria Harbour which I’m desensitized to by now. Wouldn’t mind coming back here at night, however, to see how it compares.

I tend to go get massages from time to time when I need an extra energy boost. However, this place I go to I can never escape the smell of grilled lamb that travels through the air close by.

At 3 rmb a skewer, usually 4 or 5 skewers is a good start. Depending on the time of day these things can be in high demand and require at least 10-15min wait.

Ask for a little bit of hot spices on your skewers, and I promise these are well worth the wait!

Admiring my friend’s deco work on Nike’s 6.0 tour bus which has been transporting the world’s top bmx riders around Shanghai. Had the bus to ourselves for about a day to test drive, so we took it to miscellaneous locations. There’s nothing funnier than seeing peoples faces when we flag down this huge orange bus like a taxi and hop on.
