The Chinaman Squat

Something I had to get accustomed to seeing from time to time is the what I call the “chinaman squat”. It’s a stereotypical allegation, but through my many travels I’ve seen it most prevalent in China. You’ll usually find men of older generations resting in this position, perhaps even in big groups indulged in deep conversation. Whether or not you find this inappropriate, you’ll have to deal with when being here. Heck I find myself unintentionally doing it now and then. Maybe I’ll keep the trend going for future generations to come…
