A Small Donation To Japan

Many of us helplessly watch as our eyes are glued to the news watching as the story continues to unravel on the Sendai recovery and rescue efforts. Having many friends living in Japan, some of whom have not been able to reach their relatives in Sendai, this devastating event has hit me personally. Although hopes and prayers for the safety of the remaining missing people are needed, I took the extra effort today to make a blood donation in case there happened to be a demand. Whether or not my donation will make it to Japan, I know it will eventually serve its purpose.
