Phuket Day 1

Woke up on the second day in the Somerset to this sunrise off the balcony.  It was early, and I had a flight to catch within the next few hours.

Hoped into a taxi and started discussing the plan of attack for when we landed in Phuket. There was no plan, really, but to eat some good seafood.

In less than 2 hours later we landed in a very hot Phuket.

Grabbing a ride from the airport, we tell the driver about our quest for good seafood. She recommended a spot that was on the way to the hotel.

However, it was a short boat ride away.

Threw a little bit of everything onto my plate.  I was ready to dive in.

After our delicious meal, we stopped into a gun range.  A spontaneous decision, but hey why not?

After checking into the Amari Hotel and resting up a bit, we took a look at Patong where the night life goes down.

To be honest it wasn’t my sort fun, but I guess it was good to grab a few drinks and check out the atmosphere.

Best part for me was discovering that the McDonald’s here served cheese fries.  Eat it while taking the tuk tuk back to the hotel.
