SOHO isn’t a spot I usually go to but a friend requested some assistance with an event being held there, so I was there to help photograph key moments of the night.

What I do admire about this restaurant and bar is the interior decoration. The entrance shown here gives a good visual of better things to come.

Inside was packed with minimal room to maneuver. You won’t find a dedicated dance floor, so be prepared to rock it from where you’re seated.

First performance of the night was a quick 10-15min dance by these ladies.

Followed by a dance group using glow sticks in their act.

This fella was one of the main performers for the night. A few girls were screaming for him, so I’m guessing he’s some known local singer.

This young lady I believe won the Shanghai version of ‘American Idol’.

Her voice was pretty good, and she sang some tough English songs.

One of the last performances of the night. I was beat after 4 hours, but it was the hip-hop music between each show that kept me going. Although SOHO is not my preferred nightlife locations it may be worthwhile to check out.
