Right before I came to Shanghai I had stopped at Red Box karaoke in Hong Kong for a quick singing session, only to find out all my regular songs were taken out due to copyright issues. I wasn’t happy. Being forced to sing Backstreet Boys and Lady Gaga put a real damper on my night.
So enter Party World in Shanghai where the songs are updated, lyrics are displayed correctly, and a sound system that makes even the worst (like me) sound remotely close to Brian McKnight.
Wasn’t planning on drinking at first until I saw this S&M Absolut Vokda bottle. Popped three bottles amongst 8 of us for a very interesting night.
