Tonkichi Tonkatsu Seafood Hong Kong
Seems like everyone’s heard of this place in TST. Apparently it’s THE place to eat great tonkatsu, although I’ve been reading mixed reviews online.
Anyhow, I tried it out a while back and have been lazy about posting until now. From what I remember, wait time was about 40-45mins. You can leave your cell number and get called once your table is ready.
I wasn’t paying much attention on how it’s done, but looks like a few of us at the table had to make our own sauce.
My pork cutlet, eggs, and rice dish.
Everyone else got a mix of prawns, pork, and crab croquette. Cabbage and rice are refilled at no additional cost, so leave room to feast on this to make up for the price. I recall forking over $200 HKD (~$24 USD) for my dish that I finished under 10 minutes. Can’t say the tonkatsu left an impression on me, but it seems to hit the spot for others.
