Wasn’t sure how to categorize this post, so I threw it under nightlife when obviously indoor ice skating can be an all day activity.  Can’t remember the last time I ice skated, but I do know it was years ago back in the States.

Hockey pucks decorate a wall as you go in to get skates.

This is not me on ice but standing behind the boards.  I didn’t skate this time around but probably will soon enough.

MegaIce is the largest ice skating rink in Hong Kong with regulations that meet international and Olympic standards.

Center ice had cones for teaching students.  Looked like figure skating from what I saw.

MegaIce is inside the MegaBox mall located in Kowloon Bay, so you have about 2 levels above which have a good overhead view of the rink.

MegaBox is such a pain to get to unless you live near KLN Bay (I live in To Kwa Wan and still find it a pain). Might as well go to Elements @ Kowloon Station or Festival Walk @ Kowloon Tong to skate. :P

@Lai – I have to agree. It’s quite a hassle to get to especially walking in this HK heat!
