Shake ‘Em Buns
I randomly came across a few good reviews on this burger joint online and decided it wouldn’t hurt to give it a try.
With three locations in Hong Kong, I went to the Shake ‘Em Buns in Central on Wellington Street.
Looking through the menu I couldn’t help but order the “Gang Bang” burger with two patties, cheese, bacon, and a fried egg. This also happened to be the most expensive on the menu.
Noticed a few funny signs as I walked in. Took some photos as I waited for my food.
Coming from a guy, I feel aiming is not the issue. The issue is where the splash ricochets off to, which let’s be honest, is not our problem.
So true…
Here’s order #1: “Debbie Does Dallas” burger.
Order #2: “South of the Border” burger.
Order #3: “Gang Bang” burger.
My “Gang Bang” burger came out much smaller than what I expected. I feel like I paid for the big ass bun more than anything else. Not worth the $98 HKD if you ask me, and the patties were only alright.
I give props to order #4: The wings. Pretty good, so I might return just for that or if I get the urge to try other burgers. My choice is still Triple-O’s for a quality burger, but definitely give this place a try to form your own opinion.
