Tokyo 6/09 Day 5: Nakameguro
Think I woke up around the afternoon following the long night in Ageha. It was Sunday, and my cousin still had yet to witness real-life cosplay. We got on the JR to Harajuku again hoping Sunday would have a better turnout.
On the way there it started raining. Just our luck. No people seen in cosplay at the usual spot, so we parked ourselves at a local ramen joint.
This might “look” good, but it didn’t turn out as great as I thought.
After doing a walk around Harajuku, we met up my friend for dinner in Nakameguro.
Heating up the coals.
Kimchi, salad, pork, and beef grace our table.
Accompanied with beer and great people, this was a delicious dinner for the last night in Tokyo.
The next day in the hotel lobby we checked out and decided to sit down for green tea while waiting for the bus to the airport. When I saw the price was 1500 YEN (~$15 USD) I told the lady “no thanks”. Then she kindly told me I had to order something since I sat down.
Well crap. We each took the green tea since it was the cheapest on the menu. They also served a sweet dessert along with the tea. That didn’t make me any happier.
The one thing I hate doing most is waiting. Trying to pass time with pictures.
One last bowl of ramen before departure. That makes a total of 6 bowls of ramen in a span of 5 days. Kinda disgusting now that I think about it, but no regrets. Hope to be back soon. There’s still much to be done, and more to be eaten!
