Yone and Reach (a Taiwanese graffiti artist) came to Hong Kong this past weekend to showcase their work at an exhibition. We decided to host a party at M1NT to help kick things off.
A few of you may remember M1NT back from my trip to Shanghai. Although M1NT Hong Kong doesn’t compare to M1NT Shanghai, it’s still not too shabby. This is ground level where the guests enter.
Going up three flights of steps you hit the club with three VIP booths to the left and one in the back.
Making my way to the back I notice something familiar to M1NT Shanghai…
Another shark tank but located only in the main VIP room.
What do you feed pet sharks?
Then it was off to work. Threw up a printed flyer on the front door.
Moved inside and set up a larger posterboard sized version.
Then got bored waiting for Yone and Reach to arrive. Started taking random shots. Our drink tickets for RSVP guests.
Doesn’t get more straightforward than this. Funny thing is this won’t do a damn thing. Inflate the price of cigarettes then you’ll see results.
42 Below vodka. One of the sponsors for the party.
Finally they arrive, and we run through the nights schedule with them.
Fast forward 1-2 hrs later. The models and press arrive.
Four of the five models did a shoot with Yone first. I did not know who these girls were until after the party. Pictured here are Annie G, Dado Lo, A. Lin, and Hailey C.
Group photo.
Then it was a solo shoot with Chrissie Chau.
Looks like she gets the most media attention out of the five girls.
Cheese.
Short video I took of Yone x Chrissie.
During the shoot I get word that our cars arrive.
One of only two Ford GT’s in Hong Kong.
Porsche Carrera GT.
Yone and the models make their way downstairs and get a few photos taken.
Reach joins the fun.
Then we move outside to the cars.
Flashes going off like crazy.
After the mayhem, it was back inside where Yone hit the ones and twos for a bit.
Reach buggin out. I must have missed the joke.
After a few drinks it was time for me to go. We’ll see you next time Yone. Peace.

so… if i ever visited HK, would you still hang out with me even though i don’t have celebrity/model status?????? or am i not cool enough?
Why does Yone keep grabbing new cameras
@JO – You got facebook celebrity status… that’s good enough for me haha, j/k
@will.i.am – Each polaroid cartridge only allows 10 shots, so it needs to constantly be reloaded.
