Super Fun Bowl
I heard rumors that my uncle was a bowling shark, so I challenged him to a few games yesterday night.
Back in my mid teens, I used to go with a friend to the bowling alley near my house everyday during the summer. They knew us so well there that we got to play for free. Got so much practice in that I would bowl 200+ consistently.
Now that my bones are frail and eye sight weakened, I arrived early with my cousin and his girlfriend to get some practice in.
Results after game 1. Started off frame 1 with two gutters but barely inched my way passed 100 in the end.
Then shit got serious. Upon my uncles arrival, they hit the lights and it was time for cosmic bowling.
Everyone seem excited and whipped out their cameras as well. Good thing too because lights came back on in 30 minutes.
Results after game 2. I was able to tack on another 50 points to my original score which was more than enough to beat uncle “A” in the first round. What I fail to show is the next two games in which he found his groove and beat me effortlessly. Looks like I got to invest more practice to take him out the next time around.
Games here are $46 HKD (~$6 USD) per person with an additional $10 HKD for shoe rental. Address and info below.
