Shanghai Day 3: Sola Aoi x Yone x Food
My last day in Shanghai. Got checked out of the hotel in the morning and headed to my friend’s crib and waited on him to get ready.
Snapped a few pictures off his balcony.
Inside he had a bunch of unique paintings on his walls.
I like this one in particular.
His dog wanted out and tried to nudge the door open with his face.
Sorry buddy I wanted to let you out too, but it’s not my place. It was a good dog. Didn’t bark or whine, just heavy sighs.
Took a taxi out and met everybody at this restaurant that my friend said was one of the best in quality in Shanghai.
He wasn’t lying. Yone couldn’t even help himself and went right for the shrimp when it came out.
Everyone to my right.
Everyone to my left.
Forget what this was now… but damn good.
Chicken soup with dumplings. Good for easing the stomach after a night of partying.
A group picture before we left for the airport.
Heading to airport on the Shanghai Maglev Train. Not sure if it’s the world’s fastest train, but it can reach speeds up to 311 mph. We were going about a constant 190 mph the whole way there as displayed by the speed indicator.
Our flight got delayed a little, so I began snapping again.
Got back to Hong Kong about midnight and crashed the minute I hit the bed. My time in Shanghai was short, but I’ll be back soon enough. Still have another entry with my China visa that needs to be used within 3 months. Maybe more sightseeing next time around.
