Tiffin Lounge

If you love to indulge yourself in sweets look no further.  I got the perfect place for you. The Tiffin Lounge located in the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong has a nightly dessert buffet that will make you hurl. Literally.

An outside look from my seat. The panoramic view was nice, but when you’ve seen these buildings in so many occasions you hardly notice anymore.

Making my first stop I got confused.  I didn’t know whether to start off on the blueberry or raspberry cheese cake first. So I went for the tiramisu.

The second stop really threw me off.   I decided to save this for the next round and grabbed some other items.

Fruit? Pass. I’m getting my money’s worth tonight.

A jazz quartet entertained us throughout the night. I finally know why they were there. To put our guilty conscience at ease while we’re going in bite for bite thinking “why the hell am I doing this to myself”.

Round 1 – Went down with no problem.

Round 2 – Went down but feeling a bit uneasy.

Round 3 – Bread and crackers to pace myself. Didn’t finish because the cheese was terrible. Definitely an acquired taste was needed for that. I was feeling good though so went back to Round 1 items.

Round 4 – Mens Restroom.

After a few dry heaves, I sat back down and ended the night with water but was able to sneak down a little more cheesecake. Too much sugar at once = mad stomach.
