Grand Palace

The Grand Palace serves as the residential quarters for the Kings of Thailand. Although the current King and Queen do not reside there, the complex is open for tourism and events. Females wearing “revealing” clothes, such as short skirts, are required to wait in line and cover up with the provided appropriate Thai-style garments before entering. I was quite amazed at the intricate structures and fine design during my entire walk-through. The Palace shows the rich and beautiful history behind all of its current political turmoil. Be sure to schedule some time here if you ever plan to visit.
