Nagoyaka Tei Sushi
I said back in the Sen Ryo Sushi post that I was very eager to try other sushi places in Hong Kong.
Just a few blocks down from home is Nagoyaka Tei and is a place that my cousin regularly goes for sushi.
Typical sushi restaurant setup. We sat at the bar instead of the tables.
Salmon is on their cheapest plate @ $10 HKD which works for me because I must have had 5 or 6 plates of it.
More salmon just made differently. I’m terrible with names, so hopefully i’ll remember the official name next time.
One of the favorites of the night, the egg sushi. Nice fluffy and warm going down but more expensive than the salmon @ $13/plate.
The fried shrimp tempura was comparable to the crab handroll I had back at Sen Ryo. An absolute must have for the night and would have had more if it wasn’t on the $35 plate. I also had the crab handroll here which was a complete let down. Sen Ryo, I would have to say, has the advantage in sushi variety and quality but at a price. Nagoyaka Tei is good for satisfying that sushi craving at good quality and price.
