Avenue Of Stars

Had dimsum with the relatives on Saturday in Tsim Sha Tsui and decided afterwards to walk the Avenue Of Stars nearby.

Avenue Of Stars is exactly like Hollywood Boulevard’s Walk of Fame but for Chinese celebrities and a beautiful view of Hong Kong Island along the entire stretch.

Jackie’s co-star in “The Forbidden Kingdom”.  Have yet to watch that.

Grandma tagged along for the walk even though it drizzled rain.  Still a real trooper at her age.

It was good to see they finally got my statue up.  My six pack had started to fade since I posed for this, and I didn’t want people not recognizing me.

But for some reason this guy’s name was tied to the statue.

Towards the end I didn’t know many of the remaining star names and concentrated on the scenary instead.

You can find a lot of tourists here especially at night taking photos of the view.  Pick your days wisely though because worst is coming out to a foggy day like this.  Taking the MTR here is by far the easiset.  Get off at Tsim Sha Tsui station and take exit E.
