Sen Ryo Sushi
Got to eat at what I believe to be one of the more popular sushi places places in Hong Kong. Wait times were 30 minutes minimum, and the lines were still stretching as I was leaving.
The restaurant has a sushi bar in the middle where sushi pieces are placed on a conveyor belt. Grab the ones you like but keep an eye out on the color of the plates. Every color represents a different price like at most sushi bars.
I chose to sit at a booth with a few others and ordered off the menu. This was the first to come. Can’t remember what it was but sure did taste good going down.
Next came the scallop salad mixed in a very flavorful dressing.
Bring on the main course!
More raw meat.
Shown here is an egg custard. I grew up on this, and hands down, this was the best I’ve ever had.
I thought the custard did it for me, but the soft shell crab handroll hit the spot. It was my favorite of the night which maybe explains why it was one of the more expensive plates. I’m eager to see how other sushi places compare.
