Went to meet up with my grandma and cousin in Hung Hom (紅磡) for dinner. The sushi place they wanted to take me to was packed, so we decided on MOS Burger nearby. It was my first time to a MOS Burger restaurant, although I had heard much about it and seen the Japanese chain when I was in Tokyo.

You order at the counter just like at a typical fast food joint, however it’s not so fast here. You’re given a number, and when your order is ready they bring it to your seat.

What separates MOS Burger, from lets say a McDonalds, is how the buns are made from rice. That’s only true for certain MOS burgers however.

The rice bun on my seafood burger. The portions are pretty small so you would want to order another one if you’re hungry.

I purchased a meal which comes with your choice of sides. I got the fries while my cousin got fried shrimp.

A few signs displaying the MOS Burger slogan: “HAMBURGER IS MY LIFE”. According to their website, they also have locations in Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Hawaii. I enjoyed my seafood burger, but I’ll be making another trip here to try their other selections.
