Siam Paragon
This is probably one of the biggest shopping malls that you could ever step into. Located in Bangkok, it holds over 270 stores, a cineplex, an IMAX theater, a fitness center, a bowling alley, and the biggest aquarium in Southeast Asia. Siam Paragon is geared towards more high-end products, so if you’re in to the Chanels, Burberrys, D&Gs, Jimmy Choos, etc., then this place is right up your alley.
It’s unfortunate, but I didn’t come for any of those attractions. I came for what I do best. Eat!
The Paragon also houses one of the largest food courts I’ve ever seen. I’m pretty sure they serve whatever you’re in the mood for. Not feeling the Asian food? Well there’s a seat awaiting you at the McDonald’s, KFC, Tony Roma’s, and many other non-Asian cuisine joints.
I continued my Thai food quest. Got the papaya salad.
Tom Yum Goong
Pad Thai
I couldn’t stop until I tried some of the deserts and snacks around the area. Started with a freshly mixed cup of iced milk tea.
Waffles in assorted shapes
Milk Jelly
One of my weaknesses. Cake.
I held my own and didn’t end up buying any cake. Looking back at this picture I wish I had.
This is no desert but looks just as sweet – the Lambo. The top level of the mall has a show case of luxurious cars for sale. I’ll go back another day for it.
