I felt like a King here, no doubt.  This was my first time staying in a 5 star hotel and the best part was knowing that it was affordable.  We went through a travel agent to book our packaged hotel and flight, but I’ve seen room rates starting at $90(usd)/night for 2 single or 1 King sized bed.  Can’t beat that between two people.

Pulling in you’re greeted by a nice water display.

Reaching the front doors.

Entering my room I was speechless… the bed was calling my name.  So after the kind escort left, I did what every grown man would do.  I jumped on it.  What I found out later is that you can purchase individual items in the room.  I planned on taking home a few pillows and a mattress topper, but they were out of stock!

With that out of my system, I checked out the view from the window.

The bathroom was just as glamorous.

Got the rain shower head with a detachable hand held.  The glass door swiveled in both directions which was nice.

It was a bit excessive for me to have a bathtub too, but no one’s complaining.

Went outside to check out the pool

A bar where you can order your free complimentary drink that came with the room.

More sunbathers.

Gotta love the infinity pool.

Checked out the weight room facility as well. Surprisingly, I used it twice during my weekend stay.

Back to the room where the rubber frog and I spent some alone time.
