Get Loose, Tokyo Loose

The first night in Japan I met up with a few friends and headed out for drinks. It was already a bit late and all trains stop operating at midnight, so we stopped by this local international bar & club in Shinjuku.

My first impression of this bar was that it was typical of something that I would see in the States. What really set it apart was the friendly interaction between all the people there. The night started a bit slow with people mingling, feeling the music, and putting their orders in.

After a few drinks the music starts to take you over.

After a lot of drinks the entire bar is on their feet.

With inhibitions lowered, some may find it tempting to use or experiment. Here’s a reminder to just say no.

Lastly, I leave you with a video I shot from the bar. I apologize in advance for the poor quality, it was taken from my four year old digital camera. The guy here sure was a big part of the entertainment for the night. All I kept thinking was how I didn’t want to be on the receiving end of a possible elbow to the face.
